Hazardous Tree Evaluation
Utilizing standards developed by the International Society of Arboriculture,
our certified staff will identify hazardous tree conditions for further inspection.
This is generally a ground level inspection regarding the overall health of the individual
tree. The evaluation includes the proximity of high voltage lines and the damage to surrounding
hardscape surfaces. More detailed inspections are available. Based on client provided
specifications and input from our staff, our survey crews can identify any type of potential
hazards. These hazards may include disease, fungus, environmental issues, poor maintenance
practices and storm damage.
Tree Valuation
Again, using standards recognized by the International Society of Arboriculture,
ArborPro can calculate the real value of each tree. The calculation is based on
an ISA formula, tree condition, tree attributes and other regional considerations
to calculate the worth for every tree. Whether looking up the value of one tree or
viewing the value of the entire urban forest, the information is swiftly displayed.
GPS Data Collection Services
Global positioning system (GPS) technology has enhanced our ability to locate and manage
field assets. Our data collectors have years of experience utilizing our specialized
equipment to locate a tree anywhere on the planet with an accuracy level of less than 12 inches.
Our standard setting for a typical project is sub meter accuracy. Our trained staff can plot
the geographic coordinates of any physical asset on your property. We can plot points for trees,
street signs, street lights, storm drains etc. They can plot lines or polygons for vegetation or
utility management.
Street Tree Master Plan
A proactive master plan is vital for the proper management of the urban forest. Many cities
have a poor history of planting the proper tree in the proper site. The result is expensive
hardscape damage, trees in power lines, pest problems and unsightly fruit droppings. Our Master
Plan is designed to give the city a "road map" for future tree planting throughout the community.
Our overall goal is to optimize canopy coverage with the proper species. This inherently increases
the value of the urban forest and property values throughout your community.
Your final product will be delivered in a bound book for easy reference and incorporated into your
ArborPro database. Our staff is available to present the Master Plan to community groups and
City Council at no additional cost.
